Power of Presence: Presenting Techniques & Competences

It is a true art to be an effective, inspiring, relaxed and intriguing presenter. But you can learned this art with the right presenting competences and techniques. In this 3-day Presenting Training: Presenting Techniques and Competences the focus is on the basics of giving a presentation. This training is the first module of the Power of Presence Training, the training to become a professional speaker and presenter, but it is also possible to attend it as a separate 3-day training.

Learn how to be Relaxed while Presenting

In this 3-day training you will learn how to give a presentation while being relaxed. We will pay close attention to your body posture and body awareness while you present. You will be better able to control your (possible) nerves and anxiety and you will learn how to get yourself into a relaxed “state of mind” before starting a presentation.

Presenting Techniques and Competences

Apart from the non-verbal aspect of presenting, you will also learn the basics of presenting. Some of the topics:

• (Communication) techniques with regard to effective presenting
• Theory of presenting:
  • What makes a presentation intriguing?
  • What is the best way to structure a presentation?
  • Discover your own unique presenting qualities and how you can accentuate them.

Learning by doing

You will actually practice with the techniques for good presenting and you will develop new competences by understanding and doing at the same time. We will connect this to the competences you already possess. After completing this module, you will be able to present. You will know how to structure an intruiging and effective presentation and how to optimally use verbal and non-verbal communication.
