Career Path Coaching

Career Path Coaching might be an excellent method for you if you are looking for career path guidance, career path development or tailor-made advice for your career path. For example:

• When you are not sure if you are at the right place in your current job;
• When you want to find out which job suits you or you are looking for new challenges in your current job;
• When you want to construct your own career path;
• When you want to start working again after being unemployed for a while;
• When you are looking for ways to stay motivated in your (current) job.

How does Career Path Coaching work?

In Career Path Coaching we will first look at who you are as a person. Using either a career path test or the Narrative Method, we will determine what personal characteristics, qualities and skills you possess. Apart from looking at your current work situation we will analyse your capacities/abilities, your personality and the aspects that you consider important in a job (partly based on your job history). You will get answers to questions like: Who am I? What can I do? What do I want right now? What do I want in the future?

Then, we will look closely at your current job. Why is there no challenge in your current job? Why are you not sure that you are in the right place? What challenges are you looking for? What increases and what decreases your energy level? How can you balance these two? Can you translate this to your current job or do you need a new environment?

Finally, we will look at the future. What do you need in the future to accomplish your goals? What is holding you back and what abilities can you still develop? We will also focus on purpose: why are you working? We will use exercises to help you find the answers to these questions.

Career Path Coaching – various forms

The Career Path Coaching at Bureau Land is tailor-made to your needs and wishes. You are always allowed to change the direction of the Coaching process. Together with your coach you will look for Professionalism; how you can use it in your life and what can you do to bring out the best in yourself and in your job. The Coaching uses the methods, knowledge and background of: NLP, Sytemic Work (Career Constellations), Personality tests such as MBTI®, Metaprofile analysis and theatresports.

You can expand your development programme by adding elements of an Outplacement development programme or a personal effectiveness training such as the Application Training, the Networking and Acquisition Training or the Master Class Career Path Coaching.
